About me
Hi, I’m Dan - professional bag maker, accidental fabric collector and proud Ramsgate resident. I started making bags in 2022 after deciding that store-bought just wasn’t cutting it. One sewing machine, several pricked fingers and far too many cups of coffee later… here we are.
You’ll often find me at craft fairs in Ramsgate and across Kent, proudly standing behind a table that I definitely spent longer arranging than I care to admit. I’ve mastered the art of awkward eye contact, polite small talk and pretending I haven’t already eaten all the snacks I brought with me before 10am. If you spot me, come and say hello (or just admire the bags from a safe distance, both are acceptable). However, if the idea of braving the Great British weather and crowds fills you with dread, or you just don’t feel like ‘peopling’, panic not! You can shop from the safety of your sofa, in pyjamas, eating cereal out of the box. Zero judgement. Zero travel.
I don’t design the patterns (credit where it’s due - those geniuses exist elsewhere), but every bag, wallet and purse is handcrafted by me. I’m all about quality - the kind of stitching your nan would nod approvingly at.
If you’re after mass-produced, soulless accessories, I’m afraid you’ve taken a wrong turn. But if you like your everyday essentials with personality, durability and possibly a stray dog hair or two (free of charge), we’ll get along just fine (I joke about the dog hair. She’s hypoallergenic)
If you spot something that’s out of stock, don’t shake your fist at the screen and dramatically refresh the page. Just send me a message! Likewise, if you love a bag but wish it came in a different colour, fabric or general vibe, I’m more than happy to chat. I am but one man with a sewing machine and questionable snack discipline, but I do take requests.
